Hey guys,
Have an opportunity to get some 15 drag wheels for my 06 auto gt. I can get 8" or 10" wheels with M/T 275/60/15 radials. I am running 17" now with M/T 275/40's. If I go with the 10", should I go to a larger tire 295/55 or 325/50 or should I stick with the 295/60's. I get excellent traction with the setup I have now. Running 13 in the 1/4 and 8.3 in the 1/8

If you are getting excellent traction with your current set up, why change it?

I just purchased 15x10 Dark Stars for my ride from CJ Pony Parts. I can't see me going with anything less but I'm having traction issues.

Something to consider is weight...looking at your sig you are just an N/A auto car so I would stay away from a 15x10 due to rotational weight. As for tire height you need to figure out what gear & rpms you want to cross the stripe and and what are you crossing it now at?

There are a lot of variables to consider....Personally I would get some nice lightweight 15x8 rims and put the Mickey Thompson 275 pro radials on it and then adjust your rear end gear accordingly to get you where you need to be rpm wise. But it all costs money so you need to consider that as well.

I run 27x10.50 bias Hoosiers on 15x8 rims with no traction issues. I even run them at 28lbs and still have no traction issues.
