alright guys I love my hot rod cams and all but I just feel like i could have gotten something better for the money i spent. I plan on getting getting a blower in the next month or 2. wondering if I would benefit from a set of mutha thumprs or nsr stage 2 comps....what are you guys thoughts?

Mutha thumprs will be worse than hotrods. They have a tighter lsa, and more overlap, you'd almost be blowing boost out your exhaust with those. I agree, get a blower grind if you're getting a blower

i looked at the cms stage 1 blower cams .450"/.450" lift, 226/240 .050" duration, 116LSA. Never did understand the numbers at all.....

Get a blower grind, and look into CMS cams, pretty much the most aggressive cams you can find :)

That's looks like it's going to be the best NSR blower cam out there. A few more degrees of duration than Comp's with a good blower friendly LSA.

I agree, that looks like a good nsr blower grind.. I know exactly what cams I want but I don't wanna drop the dough on them :( I want some spr stage 2's.

After some research I ordered those cams last week (CMS Stage I blower cams). I'll be installing them soon as they arrive..

Nice! I wish that I would have got a nice blower grind instead of the NSR's I have now. But at the time I thought it was going to be a couple of years before I put my blower on so I went with an N/A grind. That is why you should really do cams as one of your last mods; cam grind and timing should be used to dial in your power curve and should be done at the end of your build.
