I went to look at the mach saturday and drove it around a little, the guy was with me so I didnt get on it but could feel the power it had. Now ive seen some post's where people say noise coming from rear but never read it, there is a noise it makes when hitting a bump in the rear, any ideas? He said a dealer told him $100 to fix it, frame needed to be greased or something??Other than that the engine sounded good and drove well. 03 with 18k miles. (1 of 814) Here's some pics of her...

Yes its very nice looking, its not #1 just 1 of 814 built, not sure the exact #. I just have to get a loan which i dont want to do, itll be worth it tho. I need to sell my car to! if i give it to carmax they wont give me sh*t!

now i dont know what the noise would be but there is nothing to really grese on the back end but awsome mach 1 cant wait to get my dads 71 back on the road

That's a very clean car. Don't worry about the loan. You should get at least half of the Mach's cost in your car when you sell it.

Ha weems I love the white, and machboy thats what im thinking, it wont be so bad, just sucks to lose all the money from mods and i dont feel like demodding it, unless someone really wants something. I might take the roush cluster out and sell it :(. Doesnt have the same redline as the mach but I guess I could still use it?

There's a common misconception that white is the fastest due to a lack of pigments meaning reduced weight. However, as white is reflecting all colors, it actually has the most pigments, and is in fact slower than any other color.

And if you believe that, I've got a great deal on... ;)

I've never heard of greasing the frame. That has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. That guy is trying to blow smoke up your ass. If it's only when you hit a bump then make them put the car on a life and check all the shocks out back, upper and lower control arms, and look at the bushings, swing arms, everything you can get your hands on. Shake it around and push it. Make it make the noise before you buy is so they know what to fix. My car does that but it's on the front end drivers and it's the strut. Don't let them sell you something that's going to need parts replaced a week after you buy it.

Other than that it's a good looking car. It's second in the fastest list though... I bet you can guess who's first!

it could be the control arms or shocks. I'm currently dealing with this little dilemma that is easy to fix. New control arms and shocks will go in after the holiday. (thinks to himself..."darn i should update my mods")

what kind of noise is it? squeak, clunk, knock, bang?

if its a squeak, i could see where a bushing, or something could be really dried up or sticking, and causing a sqeak. could clunk if it has a catback, and the pipes were not properly aligned when installed.

How much would you sell the cluster for? Not saying id buy it but i might think about it. i know i want a cluster but not sure if im ready to spend the money but what would you be sellin it for anyway?
