Bought this stuff called Blitz from chemical guys over a year ago and never used it. Thought I'd try it out tonight on the car before I buy some big detailing items next month. Curious to see how it looks in the morning and holds up. Really easy to apply. Felt really smooth after buffing it out so thats a plus.

Replaced stock airbox in place of the K&N CAI I was running. Cleaned the MAF sensor and put in a new Motorcraft filter element.

Replaced the original hoses on my UPR catch can with the new braided hose and nice OE type Ford connectors. Looks a lot better.

Chris, why did you swap out your true track? Did eaton replace it under warranty?

Awesome weather down here today too (lol I think it hit low 50's but that's the warmest it's been in 3 months. No snow anywhere and the sun was out :) but my car is still in the body shop :( should be ready for pick up tuesday! Got my chin spoiler in today as well. The guy I bought my taillight off of on s197 still hasn't shipped them out and I paid him on tuesday... he has a lot of good reviews and is a well known forum member there but I just am getting anxious to get them!

Sent him two already he replied saying he'd get them out and send me a tracking #, I'll pm him and maybe text him tonight. I'm sure he's just busy like I said tho I'm anxious to get em!

It took a crap on me going down the highway, I got my whole rear used so I didn't even call Eaton to try anything I ended up switching it out for their "posi" unit, im actually happier with how it drives now than when I had the true-trac in it

Well... still no reply from the guy I bought the taillights, sequentials, and mirror covers from, and he's been online like 3 times since I sent it... He's a paying member on there, with almost 20 itrader reviews that are all good, and he even sent me his number and sent me video and pics of all the parts I was buying, but he's been telling me he'll get them shipped out to me since tuesday... I'll give him til next week, but them I think I'm gonna give him a call, seeing as how I have his number haha. Maybe he has already shipped them out, or maybe he's been super busy, but when buying parts off a forum member I'd prefer to actually get some good communication. He was great up until he got the money in his account then I've only gotten 1 reply to 3 pm's and a text over the last 4 days. Like I said he's a fairly reputable member over on s197 so I don't wanna like call him out hah but I'm getting annoyed. :bash:

Got my state return back and started phase 1 of 2 of "Operation: Replace all the **** that broke over winter and lower it" I have new end links, driver door check strap, and a fuel filter on the way.

I would give the guy til Tuesday then text the guy so you have proof of exactly what you say and what he replies. If he keeps playing the BS game I would request an immediate ship out or my money back. I don't care how busy someone is once you take payment from someone to send them parts they should send the damn parts or explain exactly what is going on and when they expect to ship them on the exact day.

Well like I said, he said he's ship them out that day, then I asked about it and he said he ran out of time and he said he'd get them out that day and send me tracking info, so i waited 2 days before asking him again, and got no reply but he's been online, posting threads and such, and I texted him, and got no reply... So I think that's a good idea, I don't wanna be a dick, but I'd rather be a dick and get my parts, that be chill and get ****ed over haha. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt til tuesday like you said, and if he doesn't respond to my PM I'll call him
EDIT:
looks like he's sending them out today, or getting them ready at least. He gave me my money back for the mirror covers because he broke one taking them off. Still no reply to PM I think he just sucks and communicating haha. Oh well, I wasn't dead set on the mirror covers, but for $25 I figured I'd paint em up and throw em on.

I'm like 2 clicks away from ordering hotrod cams... lol. I think half the reason I'm so torn, is I love the feeling of ordering parts, installing them myself, and all that. The other part of me loves the best bang for the buck parts, which gears definately are...

that's my problem... I have enough for both but I'm trying to keep my savings account decent :p being a poor college student with this hobby sucks lol. I think I'm gonna hold off on either for a month or so, just get my car back and drive her, and appreciate my fresh, chip and scratch free paint, and my new exterior mods, and my freshly un-plastidipped summer tires, and the power I've been missing! I'm thinking of getting some 3m or something for the hood and bumper, because it never had any major chips, but they were there, and not it's completely fresh and new so I wanna keep it that way!
