This isnt my first set, my first ones were UMI but they were welded to my old rear and these were a bit cheaper so I went bmr this time, ive never experienced what happened to you but I did get stuck in a auto car wash one time because the mount hit the track that tire goes in lol it was embarrassing having to ask everyone in line to back up so I could back out lol
That just happened to me the other day since I'm lowered lol. I took my relo brackets off a while ago, but I did snap a grease fitting off the first time I tried to go through the car wash.

its all about the sponge and bucket fellas, but i agree, with my relo brackets i should be more aware of where i drive.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a pair of NT555s in 295/45/18s to mount on my 18x10 anthracite Bullitts from AM. Can't wait to get them mounted up! Trying the staggered look with my stock 17x8 anthracite Bullitts.

You're more than welcome to come stand around in my backyard and hand wash my car when it's 0 degrees out
not going to lie i have done that, but not a 0 degrees below freezing yes, not 0 lol

OK, just making sure.

I was driving on a back road last year, going through a curve, the tire dropped off the edge of the pavement and scrraaaapppee....God what an awful sound.

What doesn't match? Size, color or lip style? I think the color is spot on and both have machined lips. The size difference is what I want. The lip style is different but this is phase 1. If I find I like the extreme difference, I'm done (unless I mount 255/50/17s up front). If I want a wider rim up front, I'll decide from there.

The color won't. The anthracite color is more of a grey, while the stock 17x9s are a silver color. Although with you have a deep dish out back it may not be that noticeable.

I dunno. I held them side by side. The colors look the same to me. Are you thinking of the silver Bullitts? There are three colors and I know the 94-04 anthracite Bullitts look darker, but the ones I have look the same too me.

Check this out:

This guy has 18x10s in the rear with stock 17x8s up front and the colors look the same to me. Now, the tires (aspect ratio) are too thin compared to the front (probably 285/40/18s whereas I'm going with 295/45/18s) but I think the colors matchup well.

Plus, check out my signature pic.

Maybe my OEM wheels were different. This is what I had:

Much lighter than my AM Bullitts by a long shot.

Ahhh!!! Yeah, there's silver and anthracite in the "Bullitt" style. Then there's the polished "funnel spoke" that you see on the GT/CS, and the same "funnel spoke" in black is used on the newer Bullitt. My current rims are OEM and anthracite (as seen in my signature). The 235/55/17s have a 5" sidewall and stand 27.1" tall. If I recall the 295/45/18s have a 5.2" sidewall and stand 28.4" high. So it'll fill the rear wheel well and reduce that gap by 0.65". I don't wanna lower the car due to the bumpy back roads I drive on. Personally, I like the look of 17s on the front but think they look a little small on the back. Somehow 18s look right in the back (even stock). I'll post pics once they're mounted for comparison. Tires arrive by Thursday and I'll bring them to a local tire shop with my 18x10s for mounting.

This weekend I'm getting my chin spoiler striped up and ready for installation. It's looking good!!!

BTW Ryan. If I wasn't so set on a larger tire out back, I'd go for 285/40/18s on all comers like you suggested. I love your setup!

Got extremely pissed at it from the damn front brake creaking. I was living with it and then it ramped up double in noise last night and this morning. No decrease in breaking perforamce. Sometime this week I will be trying to pin point exactly what is causing it and fix it. Replaced pads, rotors, slide pins, and regreased/lubed all the parts within the past year and parts all still look great. The car will creak when sitting still even by depressing the brake pedal and at slower stops, less than 20mph. If it had not doubled its volume I wouldn't mess with it but this crap is louder than my radio now and embarrassing.

So im about to order new tags as I have to renew next month and I think I wanna go with personalised plates. What do you guy think of 4PNTSIK as in 4.Sick
I think its pretty lame, no offense, but that's just me
