Are stock 95-98 wheel set ups the same as stock 99-04 wheel set ups ?? ( excluding big brakes like cobra, bullitt, Mach etc... )

Reason I ask:
I'm looking at a used set of big / little from a 1995 gt. i have a 1999 gt.
Will they fit ? Any difference between the two?

****** also, they guy states they've been sitting in his basement for 6+ years.
When do tires go bad ..... Dry rot or the compound hardening ?

As usual, thanks for the help fellas.

They will fit. 94-98s have shorter axles, but not too significant. If they are radials that have been sitting that long, they are no good.

Here's my rear wheels on a 99-04
When I say that my car was on jack stands and we rolled them onto this car in a parking lot

Edit - I've got 2 sets of rear wheels but both are the EXACT same dimensions and sizes.
Shark bait ,

Uh oh .... I ran into a problem.
I thought the back spacing was kind of standard.
Anyway, when I looked to see them on jegs,
They have listed a 4 1/2, 5 1/2, And 6 1/2 backspacing for the 15x10 rim.
I believe the recommended back spacing for 99-04 is 6.50"

The guy doesn't know what his back spacing is.
He only knows they came off his 95 gt, And it fit "ok".
And I have a 99 gt.

It's a 2 hour drive, gas and tolls .... I dont want to waste my time.
Any suggestions ? Are back spacing s stamped on fatties rims ?

Thanks.

I want my big/littles so bad! Once my trans is done I am saving for them. I want 40ths wheel setup but with 17s for the front. Idk if I can justify that money haha. I will probably go with the SVE drag wheels from LMR.

40thanniversery you're car looks like pure sex. I love it
Thank you!
What size tires/ wheels are those? It seems like the rear is so much higher than the front.
The car was parked on an incline too, so it makes it look higher than it really is.

Wheels are 15x4 front with 1.5 BS and 165/80 tires, and rears are 15x10 with 6.5 BS with 295/55.

Ok.....looking at a set that has a 15x3.5 in the front.
Can you please give me a front tire recommendations ( lower cost / higher cost )
I've read 1) not to use a bias ply front wheel with a radial rear wheel.
Seems like 90% I've seen are bias ply.
2) some front wheels ( maybe the lower quality or load capacity ) looks flat.
3) they would be street driven alot
4) I saw some Nexens and one from American muscle....but rated to only 118 mph.

Thanks for all your help.

my set up, puttin my QTP's on the rear next week, these 28s were on the wheels when i bought them and they are wayyy too tall imo....... will be selling these this winter and doing some billet specialties
