Exactly. And to re shim a gear is a lot cheaper than to get the axles installed and everything. Everything will be there, except the shimming of the gera. So it will cost less. And because I dont have $$$ to burn. And I enjoy working on my car and learning with it.

Why do something you know you can't do and save yourself some cash?

if it gets messed up he now not only has to pay the shop.. he also has to pay to have the car towed and has to pay for any acc. that he jacked as well.

there are other ways to learn other than taking your car into surgery without gloves.

thats true doc, but matt has other vehicles available to him. sure, it'd be smarter to go to school to learn how to do these things, but what if it's just a hobby?
