Had a spark plug blow out =/ Is this just a simple, pull out the bad one and pop in a new one? Or we talkin' tapping kit or heli-coil?

welcome to the club! from what ive heard, a time sert is the way to go. this is what you need....i think. i ordered it but it hast shown up yet.

Yeah dont use a heli coil it will just blow out again, mac tools makes a nice kit

Look around for them used, or see if you can rent one. I picked mine up used for $200. Worked like a charm.
