^That's what I thought I heard too was the input shafts.

But as far as upgrading the half shafts I was looking at the price of the upgrade for the 03-04 Cobra's bc I always heard that was an issue and they seem to be $1,619 for the pair rated up to 900hp.

The cobra kit has a hub though.

I see they have started offering some for the 2015 stang. The Ford Racing ones don't have a rating on them from what I seen but they are $469 each so $938 for the pair and the Driveshaft Shop ones rated at 800hp are $599 each $1,198 for the pair and those rated up to 1400hp are $799 each $1598 for the pair.

Idk imo comparing those prices those upgraded axles don't seem to be that far out there even with it being a newer car.

i wonder how beneficial an 8.8 swap would be for these cars.

Yeah unfortunately gone is the day that the Mustang came equipped with one of the best rear ends put in a car. Kinda disappointed that they broke so easily. Oh well, gotta forge ahead right?

I heard a little rumor that JPC teamed up to help out... don't know how much truth there is to it. Not taking anything away from AM because I'm definitely impressed!

It makes no sense to me at all. "Hey guys, lets take what everyone loves about the Mustang, what made it famous, what made it sell so well in the US... and build it the exact opposite of that."

The Mustang wasn't winning in sales to the heavier, slower, more expensive Camaro.

If Ford didn't change it up/step it up, they would have continued to lose sales.

Remember, we are literally the 1% on this website. The average buyer wants something comfortable, quick and refined ESPECIALLY out in Europe. If we were any indication of the actual market, the car companies would be selling fox bodies still.

How long is the "world record" gonna hold up? lol. A week, maybe two? These cars just came out. I could have set a record with it too if I was the first one to take it down the track.

AND it broke.

It was Justin from JPC that was driving the car, nobody from AM. Since any form of racing the records are tied to the driver, that's Justin's record more than anything. AM said they tuned it themselves but I have my doubts. The car also had a nitrous kit on it but they supposedly weren't spraying it on those passes. Something doesn't smell right.

Jpc ftw! They get **** done. I doubt it was being sprayed. It would have mph a good amount higher.

From what I heard, jpc helped build and tune the car, and I guess now it is confirmed that Justin was driving.

We can't have AM Employees driving the car because of legal reasons. Did you think we wouldn't go after the best driver out there?

It's the Bama performance teams Mustang and they 100% tuned the car. Here is a few shots of Paul tuning the car LIVE as we speak right now at the track:

Here's a shot of the car on our dyno the other day:

Yes, the car does have Nitrous installed. However, it has not been sprayed yet. You really think a bolt-on, lightened up GT on a drag pack with Nitrous would only go 11.2 @ 121? That is Bolt-on Coyote trap speed. If the car went that slow with Nitrous we would be extremely upset! That is really fast for NA, though and we're excited for the guys at Bama Performance to own that record. They've been hard at work every day on the Dyno testing and improving our tunes. The 2015 stuff they've been working on really is incredible!

They're also at the track today with the car again! Aftermarket halfshafts have been installed and a few more modifications. Such as a 1-Piece driveshaft!

I hope this helps clear things up. Please let me know if you have any questions at all or need some assistance! I'd be happy to help or shed some further light.

Since we broke the halfshaft last time out, we brought the car back to the shop and got back to work! We added: DSS halfshafts, 1-piece DS and the Boss Manifold. The Bama team then strapped it back down to the dyno and re-tuned the car!

We'll be making a few passes here shortly!

Hopefully this helps.

Nice, what gears are in the car?

Curious, really don't care I'm not taking away from you guys, did JPC help with tuning? Regardless, good for you guys. Hopefully you guys can dip into the 10s

What did it make on the dyno with the boss manifold?
I'll have to check with the Bama team on power. It was right around 440 RWHP. We actually ended up taking the Boss Manifold off at the track last night! The car lost a few MPH in the 1/4 after installation. After we swapped back to stock the MPH came right back and we were able to become the fastest 2015 Mustang GT at this time with a 10.4 @ 129 pass!

Hope this helps.

The car has factory 3.73 gears. Bama Performance has done all of the tuning on the car since we purchased it. Along with all of their other project cars.

We were able to run a 10.4 @ 129 last night! Video and more information coming soon..

10.4 @129 is hauling a$$!!! Looking forward to that complete list of mods on that thing. Nice work! Looks like those rides are very well capable of putting in work.
