I have a 02 gt that is on its second stock motor its procharged with 42.LB injectors, throttlebody and manifold also headers and exhaust. what is something someone did to have a strong reliable motor? obviously i need some forged internals but i dont want to go to the extent of building the whole thing for a spendy price since i just dropped two grand in it for a motor.

its just happening. how many rpms are these motors seeing?

#4 ·
How much boost? What is the rwhp?

#6 ·
how were you at a stop sign and in boost? Shouldve been in vacuum if you werent at WOT.

im still trying to figure out how he got 5 pounds of boost sitting at a stop sign

#15 ·
yeah i know that but im speaking of in a random day you just decide to make boost at a stop sign. I wonder if i could to. If i just hold the gas down it may. :dunno

spray and boost on a stock bottom end? thats a recipe for disaster...im not buyin that its never been used...another true blue stang bites the dust...cue TAPS

#17 ·
That's what I was thinking. I've seen one other car with a blower and nitrous on stock bottom end. He blew it up on the first pass with spray....it was on 8lbs and a 150 shot.

#18 ·
I'm just curious as to why anyone would think a stock bottom would hold up to both spray and boost. 8 lbs of boost and a 150 shot is what? Near 500 rwhp? Duh.

If it blew when i used it i wouldnt be on here asking about it would i....Didnt run nitrous. and let me say it slower for you. I punched it to 5 or 6 thousand (RPM) if u dont know what that means i can help u with that too and then When i GOT to the stop sign. Just draw a picture k.. a car moving right going goin goin then it GETS to a stop sign then the person in the car Hears THE CAR Knocking. anyways. yeah was dissapointed that i only boosted about 5 or 6 pounds and the bottom end couldnt take it. and yes its tuned it came with the procharger

#21 ·
It came with the procharger as in....

A) Tune was in box with blower

B) Dyno tuned when you had the blower installed

??

And no need to be a smart ass because you got peeps confused like hell. And i dont think anyone on here needs a picture of anything. You are the one with the motor knocking like hell. Sounds like you need the picture drawn up to quit putting more stock motors in there. After its all said and done, you couldve had a nice shortblock in there after all the half assing you have done. Just like a n****r (racial slur).

Then you ask "what is something someone did to have a reliable motor".... Umm.... Go with forged internals and not keep half assing it!
Agreed. Seriously dude, after 1 blown motor go with forged internals. If you half ass it, nothing good is going to happen.

And seriously dont be a c*nt about it, people are trying to understand, but your shitty explanation doesnt help at all. Here Ill draw you a picture:

HA WOW you guys arent friends by chance are you lol or lovers. Im not here to argue but the price i swapped the motor for was way cheaper or i would have got a short block kit. Its just a car Im not into giving my life to it. love the car but dont want to dump a million dollars into it since i have three other rigs that i can use. im still up to swap another motor but now that i know that a stock motor cant take freakin 5 pounds of boost i guess ill have to do what i have to do and go all out.

Yes we are...lovers.

Anyways again agreed with Baker...your going to spend more money half ass'in it then doin it right.

Youre not here to argue, I would hope not considering you have 5 posts.

Like I said, people are trying to help you. But your giving them a c*nty attitude, and your not explaining what happend. The 2nd time you did, but it was in a doushe bag way.

A stock bottom end can take 12lb of boost, **** I saw a turbo GT with the stock bottom end on Youtube making like 514rwhp running 10's. Its all in the tune, maintence and supporting mods.

well you are going to end up dumping a million dollars in it if you keep making dumbass moves.
