Get an 06 GT and be very depressed I was going to trade mine up and get one with some money and decided not to. It is all personal but it had shitty throttle response and you feel no power until third gear. When I was test driving it (both an automatic and a stick) every ricer on the street was killing me till I hit late second gear then I started to pull. It handels ok but feels like you are driving a small pickup. I would go with modding a v6 for the cash the gt needs so much work from stock to get it to show any signs of power it isn't worth it and it honestly needs a new tune for every mod you add. I'm not dissing GT's but I was way more impressed with the v6 over the GT IMO.
