But to get back to tech, to my knowledge no one has r&d'd a single turbo kit let alone a twin turbo kit for the v6. So that means everything you do will be one-off, what's that mean? MONEY. Did you really ask if a twin turbo kit would run more than 500 bucks? What is this need for speed? Quality turbos alone run 900-1500 a piece. Piping, waste gates, bov's, boost controllers, an intercooler you're probably nearing 7-8k since I assume a shop will doing everything. Then you have to question what your bottom end is capable of holding. Bro I think you've seen one too many car movies and don't quite understand what you're about to undertake

 

There is a girl on Mustang collective that did a turbo kit. She made 400HP but I forget the amount of torque. The bottom end's on the 4.0 are surprisingly strong though.

to make your car fast I would swap the engine with an 8 cyl, and if you twin turbo the sixer if would probably last ten minutes before the engine blew into pieces. the price for a twin turbo setup would be around 6-10g... so $500 might get you a tuner and cai. but if you really want to go fast you will have to just buy a.v8

LMAO... having the v6 and GT section separate saves us from a lot of these guys. It's not all bad when they show up though... it's a good laugh and it shows some of the guys that are always asking dumb questions about things they will never do, how annoying they are.

Plus get bigger exhaust and turn up the boost on those twin turbos a bit, it'll be fast^^^ wish I wasn't 20, poor, and in school I'd be all over that or a newer GT. And I actually like the sound of a well tuned suby or evo... I cannot lie
