Hey

I'm looking to buy an axle back for my 05 GT. I searched but couldn't find to much info or videos on the Hushpowers. I had on the car when I bought it a Roush extreme catback. It's sounds wicked loud and awesome but leaving for work at 5am on a cold start wasn't going to work for me. I've been seriously considering the Hushpowers but I'm most worried on the cold start. I understand any aftermarket muffler is going to be loud but I really hate the stickers loo!
Thanks guys,

They probably aren't very loud. I can't say for sure as I've never heard them, I'm just going with the fact that the word hush is in the name.

Regardless, who cares what happens. I have Outlaws (probably the loudest Flowmasters you can get) and I drive to work at 5 am every damn day, and when my neighbors bitch, (when do they not?) I just go WOT past their house for a few days. **** 'em.

Thanks for the relplies guys. Fullmetal, I actually sold them a couple weeks ago when I changed back to the stock mufflers. I've actually put in a pre order for the new BBK Varitunes. I've done some research on them but since there do so new it's very limited. I like the idea of those mufflers to switch from quiet to loud. However, ive heard people say the bbk quality isn't that great and they're calling them a gimmick. I don't know......a lot of people are saying to just get a quality axle back from another brand.

So everyday you plan to crawl under there and quiet it up, then at work make it loud just to make it quiet again when you get home? No thanks....that and I will not install a single BBK product on my car.

I have the Hushpowers on my GT and I love them I did not want a super loud exhaust sys.
Thats why I got the Hushpowers They have a real nice DEEP tone to them I get lots of complments on the way my car sounds. very easy to deal with for a DD But when you plant your foot to the floor they will turn heads They are somewhat loud on cold start-up but they quiet down pretty quick

THIS! I LOVE my Corsa Xtremes. If you can do it, go for them. You'll be VERY happy you did!

BUT, if you do want Hushpowers, they are a nice set of axlebacks. Not too loud when you're cruising, loud when you get on them.

I think this muffler seems like a great idea but I just wonder why it hasn't been done before. I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback on these. Hopefully you love them!

dont fear the mufflers, go with what puts a smile on your face, a had kids in my apartment complex say my car sounds like a roaring beast when i go to work in the morning. i have full slp exhaust, with hotrods, i think the loudest you can buy. the kids love it! the parents look upset and all, but F them.

put on there what you think sounds the best
