I cannot get the back of the control arm lined up for the life of me. It's almost seems like the rear end shifted. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for getting it lined up?

Like someone said, put a jack under the diff, and jack it alittle to rotate the axle. It should pull into place.

What I do, I connect the LCA at the rear, the. Put a jack where the front of the LCA will go and jack it up slowly. You'll see the hole start to line up slowly. Then use a screw driver to keep pulling it.

First off don't try and install it with the spring on. Second as said jack the differential up and push it forward because it slips back when the old control arm is removed and the tension is off. I had the same problem and had to pull the rear end into place when it was jacked up. I did it on my own and just muscled it in. Also got a full alignment done after because the rear tires had terrible inner tire wear. So that is something you might want to watch for also.

Old post I know oh well.

Is there really any adjustment in the rear end for an alignment? My rear tires are wearing on the inside pretty bad.

Alright, got both control arms in and everything hooked up except for the rear sway bar. It does not seem to want to fit on the inside of the control arms. I tried pushing as hard as i could while tapping it with a hammer from the back and it wouldn't go. I thought it should just slide in with relative ease. I've read that some aftermarket control arms you have to move the clips and install the sway bar on the outside of the control arm. Steeda has this on the instructions for their control arms. Anyone else have to do this? The BMR website doesn't seem to want to let me access their install instructions.

****EDIT****

Spoke to BMR and I can put the sway bar on the outside. Figured I'd update this in case anyone else ran into it and came across this thread.
