no need for a maf until you peg (with horsepower) your current one.
if your not over 300rwhp don't worry about it.

 

Dont waste the money on the BBK CAI unless you have the extra cash for the name.

Its contested that most, if not all, CAIs do the exact same thing with no better preformence over the other. You paying hundreds for the name.

 

a bigger throttle body is also pointless until you have a ported and polished upper & lower intake.

well i did want to get the full port and polish done... but thats going to be done the road... i thought i might as well hit it all at once since im going to be pulling that side appart... also does anyone know where the IAC is at?

 

its on your throttle body on the left side if your looking directly into the TB.

 

yea as the others have said, there is really no use to spend like 200 on a cai...they used to be on ebay for like 40...they all do the same no matter what the price...

it is attatched to the side of the intake with 2 bolts and a plug on the back of it

 

Jlt was pretty expensive but I would get it if your in the market. For tb I went with the 70 mm. accufab. Dont need much bigger until you get supercharged. You can get free shipping from American muscle. If your into saving dough.

 

you have to do a small amount of tweaking to get a JLT to fit... and for a stock naturally aspirated V6 its not worth it

 

if you want to wait about a week and a half you can buy mine for 25 shipped including the filter that came with it. im getting a supercharger put on so it will be useless after that for me

 

25 + shipping?... how would u go about cleaning the IAC?

 

Take off the two 10mm bolts and disconnect the connector on it,buy a can of deep creep or throttle body cleaner and spray the hell out of the inside of it. Wipe it as best you can with a rag and reinstall.

 

(get his cai) I'm pretty lucky because my brother's getting me a cai for my b-day...too bad it's pretty much a useless mod until exhaust and a tuner but it's a start!
