welp it happened, the army sent me my nastygram and has involuntarly made me a texan..................the one good thing to come out of this is:

1. no more ridiculous state taxes to pay
2. no more ridiculous state laws on vehicles.

With that being said, can anyone give me some info on vehicle laws:

ie. stickers on windshield, tint laws, headlight splitters yes or no, etc.

basically things that you could do to mod your car that some states consider illegal.

ANY help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Laws...

Tint- 35percent on the front windows...back windows can be anything!
License Plates- Must have one in the front/back (gotten pulled over many times)
Exhaust- sadly, gotta pass emissions test...so no offroad midpipes
Stickers- Never heard about anyone getting into trouble for that
Engine Mods- Anything is game pretty much! haha i know plenty of people that just get friendly with their state inspection mechanic and get passed with VERY illegal cars!

Like others have already stated, it's all about the people you know. I wouldn't worry too much though, there are a ton of people who run o/r mid pipes and dumps.

I haven't gotten in trouble for my front plate yet in the Stang, but I've only had it a month. I got away with it for about 3 years in my truck before I got pulled over by DPS *just* for the plate

Where are you gonna be stationed? As stated above, some places do emissions some don't, I don't have to pass emissions tests just a safety test. I have a buddy that lives in Dallas and when its time for his inspection he just pays me a visit and gets his inspection sticker while he's down here.
