A street car, summertime car cause it has no heat or air. Also i forgot to say its a 5 speed car. Also i need cam choices too, im not sure about the one i have. thanks

I have the cheap summit rebuild kit w/ forged flat top pistons in mine. Has done well for years. If your rods and crank aren't shot, that's what I would put in since you're not racing it. Starting to take mine to the track this year, so we'll see how it holds up to 6500 or so rpm and a 150 shot. I'm not expecting too much out of it for longevity anymore though, lol.

It will see factory limiter. Also what balance are you using for the balancer? I have a Fluidampr but dont know the specs? My motor had a lot of juice run threw it from previous owner. Number 4&8 was spun and pressed flat what was left of them. Number 3 main was spun. I found a Eagle 103023000-50 at Summit to go back in, but i wasnt certain my rods where healthy since i found this damage.

You don't want 50 oz, factory is 28, or nuetral is better, but costs more. Your flyweel is 28 also. Give me some more specs of your motor. What is the bore diameter now? What are you using for heads. As far as camshaft goes, what intake do you have, throttlebody size, maf size, injector size? And you say your driving style would be.... aggressive street?

My motor has stock bore for now. My heads are Edelbrock 6037, Edelbrock Perf. RPM. 70tb, 30# injectors. A Compucam 2030 cam that i dont know the specs to. The cam looks to be reusable but would like some ideas on other cams.

Summit said its 50?? But if 28 is it, then that explains why their rotating kits are 28!?!?! The heads, upper/lower, tb, cam all new back in august. They undoubtably hurt #6 and replaced it, then got rid of car to me. Its ok i just wanna get a good reliable motor thats gonna run good and be a daily cruiser in the summertime.

I think a hone will be ok, but idk. Im gonna take it next monday to shop for cleaning and new cam bearings. Hopefully while at shop i will know what i will buy and either pick up block or have it bored. The $1000 is for bottom end only. May throw in another hundered idk. BTW 70 tb and spacer.

Yeah mass air meter is calibrated for 30s, i do believe though i could cut back to 24s with cali. meter and help it out. The chambers was thick is carbon, definately way rich.

So it is a 50 and 50 flywheel? Any ideas on injector brand? There not cheap, and i really dont wanna get rid of the 30s, may do something different down the road.

If you are not using a power adder then get a cheap kit with I beam rods and Hyper pistons. Have a good machine shop do the work. Bring the pistons out of the deck a few thousanths, mill the heads down to around 54ccs and with the right cam and intake you will have a bullet.
