is this a good deal for a 99-04 GT procharger system?

local seller advertised a 99-04 GT procharger system with the following:

P1SC-1 polished blower that was recently rebuilt
all necessary piping, brackets, clamps, bolt, air filter, belt, new oil bottle
intercooler
60lbs injectors
Anderson Power-pipe
Diablosport MAFia
installation guide

$1500 - seems like a good deal, right?

How does this kit compare to say a Vortech V2 or V3? Any known issues? Same peaky type power like any other centri kit right?

What other items should I be looking at upgrading/purchasing when installing such a kit? I was thinking of going from 60lb injectors and diablosport maf, to ford cobra OEM 39lb injectors with a lightning MAF...or not to bother? 60lb injectors seem pretty big..

There is some info around about the cobra 39lb injectors spraying Ina split stream pattern and that isn't ideal for our 2v motors. You are better of going with the 42lb injectors because of the single stream pattern.

Also I don't see anything relating to a fuel pump so that would also need to be addressed.

You also need to find out what pulley is on the blower, you don't want to make more boost than your motor can handle.

You will also need a tune after everything is installed to make it run correctly. Your stock maf and the diablo sport mafia should be fine for a basic setup.

I've been looking for supercharger deals but have had no luck. If you don't buy it send me the info and I will. :)

Yes that is a good deal, but i would still exspect to buy some missing bolts, clamps ect($100), if you can install it yourself I would say its a steal. i got my used v2 for 2k with almost everything but i upgraded some things so i will probably be close to 2800$ with everything but the dyno tune. Look the blower over if he has proof of a rebuild and you can buy it, do it

It's a very good deal. Almost too good to be true. Make sure its real before you buy. There are scam artists everywhere.

The Diablosport MAFia and 60 lbs injectors are overkill but fine once the car is tuned for them and they will give you room to grow. If the piping is complete the only thing missing is the fuel pump and spark plugs. I recommend Kurgan's 340 lph pump and NGK TR6 plugs.

+1 to eagle's post. Between those and a 340lph pump it'll allow for quite a bit of room to grow

Great price. 60lb injectors and diablo mafia are fine. A Vortech V2 or V3 will give you more growth potential. The P1 is plenty if you plan on keeping the motor stock.
