Not yet i think they shipped out like tuesday? might come tomorrow but il be at work. He has been in contact with me the whole time regarding the shims, where the cams are, how long till they were ground at the machine shop. Again customer service there is great. Well I'm actually in the process of buying my first home so money is tight. But, that also means I will finally have room to build an engine. I'm still not sure if i want 2v or 4v.

 

I started to go 4v at one point. If you get a complete motor it wouldn't be bad price wise. But trying to piece everything together is the hard part. If you have plans for FI in the future I'd just stick with the ol 2v

 

I'd do a mark Viii rebuild if I did it. I really don't plan on f.i. though.

 

That wouldnt be bad then. 4v is the easiest way of making power on the 4.6 n/a. for the mean time you could buy these cams and throw them in you npi heads:naughty:

Exedy stage one is a great, 100 percent recommend it. Ive raced it, beat on it, everything you could imagine and when I looked at it after pulling my engine out it looked mint still. Absolutely love the clutch.

Did you use the supplied TOB or did you buy the ford racing. Originally i was just going to replace the TOB since i replaced my clutch last time it went out at 34,000. But the price of the whole kit is only 120 more then the TOB alone.
When i did the last TOB i used the supplied one that came with my king cobra clutch and haven had any issues.
My current clutch slipped twice on me this past summer for some reason. Probably all the time i dumped the clutch are catching up with it lol.
How is the feel of the exedy? Mine is hard as hell to push in and makes long drives kinda suck.

 

I always recommend the FRPP TOB. Aftermarket ones seem to be hit or miss, mostly miss though.

 

I have no clue what clutch is in the car. Previous owner stuck it in the day before I picked it up. I'm sure it was the cheapest thing available.

 

Cams shipped today! If the weather holds out i will be taking the car down to the shop sunday. Hopefully we will be making some progress on this shortly, and i will finally have some dyno numbers for these cams!

Yea I am surprised how much they got out of it for it being a regrind.
