Well guys and gals, I just finished my last final...now I have almost a whole month off to get the car together!!! :D The to do list:

-polyeurethane (sp?) motor mounts
-BBK longtube headers
-percy's header gaskets
-stage 8 header bolts
-BBK O/R H
-Kenne Bell 1.7L intercooled
-90mm MAF
-Accufab 75mm TB
-36 lb. injectors
-GT supercar pump
-Boost-a-pump
-Autometer cobalt boost, oil pres., wideband a/f
-glow shift tripple A-pillar pod
- 03/04 cobra heat exchanger

Plus a few other little goodies that are unique ;)

Im gonna go home today and put the starter back in it, tighten down the tranny crossmember, put the clutch cable back on, and hopefully get the K member stripped before the day is out :D

The idea for this whole build came from an issue of 5.0 last winter when they ran an article about the tork tech kit...thats what got the FI ball rolling in my head  The whole thing has been a budget build...the best parts money can buy but I bought a few things used (blower lol) or found new at swapmeets (carlisle) or just waited until I found the part for what I thought it was worth. Ill keep you guys updated with pics and whatnot...I cant wait to tear into it! wish me luck! :D

edit: sorry for the long read...jus figured I would throw it all out there lol

Not to go off topic but the power range you have as your goal is the same as mine but im going vortech after cooled. I was wondering.
When I get the kit installed etc. Ive been looking at rebuilding the motor so it would last.

Would upgrading the pistons, rods, rings, studs be enough? I figure my stock crank should be able to hold up. Stock crank can handle up to 475 right?

ok cool thanks. I knew I was able to save money somewhere. Looking at getting forged pistons and rods kit.
ACE forged H-beam rods
Keith Black forged pistons, rings and rod bearings
handle up to 500hp.

Ive heard of Keith Black and they seem reputable but never heard of ACE though they any good?
