My buddies who run them have ran insane numbers on the stock block... The lonely guy who doesn't.. Well talk about engine problems lol

All for 302s though or other wise I would already know which to roll with lol

Also spending another 150 to ensure your main bolts from walking isn't a bad idea.. After all the money spent on the motor it is a small insurance.

I agree with you if you don't run studs with the girdle. Running a normal bolt will still walk

Girdles do nothing for cap walk. It's the studs that are the benefit. Theres lots and lots of examples of guys splitting the block from cap chatter on a stock block with a main girdle at the same power levels as guys without them.. Holding a lot of power in a stock block has to do with crank balance, attention to detail during the build, a good tune, and luck of the draw on how strong your block actually is.

another option I had the machine shop 3 years ago he did a splaid which allowed me to run 4 bolt main caps

a while back i talked to woody over at ford strokers , and he said those after market splaid caps that turn a 2 molt main into a 4 bolt main, is a waste of money, that by the time you do the machining and buy the caps that they really dont do any thing.

i was looking into doing this before i got my dart block

I am getting it balanced by the best shop I could find in the area. They really take their time balancing. 30-40 minute drive but will be worth it when my car is still running in a few years
