i heard that drilled AND slotted rotors aren't good... i dunno why thats just what heard... i heard you either need drilled or slotted...??? i may try looking it up and post it up...
I have brembo D&S rotors and hawk pads. Spent like $600 on the set up. I couldnt really notice any difference. If you are going to upgrade brakes get better calipers too. You can get cobra/mach1 brakes for the same price I paid and they are 13 inch. Next time i upgrade I will be getting 13 inch drilled rotors and brembo calipers. I think you might have put the rotors on backwords too. I watched a show about drilled rotors and they said they need to scrape the pad from outside of the rotor in for better stopping power. however, I have tried it both ways and didnt notice anything. it just might make the pads wear different.
i dont think i put them on backwards they were marked left and right i put the left on the drivers side and the right on the passenger. but let me know if i goofed up.
awsome upgrade!!!!! i have the baer rotors drilled and slotted and they are awsome,,,and i have no problems with them crackking or anything ,,all iget from them is ass kicking performance
i really dont think it matters which way you put them. i had them the way you have them now for about 6 months until i watched the show on them. i didnt notice any difference. i even looked up the supercars like lambo ferrari and koenigsegg. lambo and ferrari have them the opposite way you have them but the koenigsegg ccx have them the way you have them. the only thing i could see them doing is the last time i checked my pads i had uneven pad wear. i cant remember what side it was, but one side of the pad was worn more than the other. i dont know what the cause of that would be, but i didnt have that problem before i put the d&s rotors on.
