i can't tell you 1/4 mile times because we don't have any around here but 8th mile my buddy's 97 GT with off road X pipe,catback,3.73's,and bbk CAI, went 9.27 @ 77 mph.

 

haha 14 flats are incredibly fast with just a catback on a stock nPI engine.. not saying it isn't possible though..

mid 14's is generally what they run..

 

must of had a god like launch!! with just the cat back did u pull the front wheels off the ground too??

i have nothing to prove to you guys... just saying what i ran...

 

Just got back yesterday from the track with mine and it ran a 8.72 at 81.69 mph in the 1/8th mile ! But it has a 8# Vortech Supercharger , Mac H pipe with no cats, Flowmaster 2 1/2 inch exhaust , 373 gears and I was running 275/40/17 Nitto Extreme Drag Radials . I think I could have done better but it was the first time I raced it at a track . A good rule of thumb , I was told was if you know what your car runs in the 1/8th mile take that time and multiply it by 1.57 and it will tell you close to what you will run in the 1/4 mile .

This was with CAI, Diablosport Delta, TB Spacer, adjustable FPR, and MAC o/r Xpipe and Dynomax catback.

Ran a 14.95 before the xpipe and catbacks. HAH!

680 to 730ft elevation.

 

I went 15.2 stock.and 14.50s with 4.10s and CAI.

With Few other things was Hanging with or beating PI Cars.

idk what it is... but with a rusted flowmaster catback and nitto dr's i busted a 14.01 i think i dont even remember the trap speed.. and my 60' was under 2.0

 

damn thats insane. elevation sucks.. my car ran a 16.5...

 

I'm guessing tires have a LOT to do with it. I had to launch around 2500 and try not to bog, damn street tires. BFG KDWS are ok, but not a DR. I alos have about 100 lbs of stereo equipment plus the jack, spare, etc always in the car. (Next time I'll take that crap out for the track.

Also, maybe he has a gear that he didn't know about :sorry?

Just like pretty much anything, there is ALWAYS someone a little better or faster.

 

i dont keep track of weather and that kind of stuff lol... i just drive there when i have a free friday night :lol... car had no rear seats/no tire/jack, nitto dr/ stock 3.27 gears/flowmaster catback/and me behind the wheel

npi cars are pigs....but do the pi swap and it's like driving another car!!!!!!!

a pig that has gotten me plenty of speeding/careless driving tickets...

 

14.17 with what you see. I ran 15.2 without the dr and 4.10's on a shitty track. Beat an 07 and and 09. I am running tonight and lowering tire pressure to 15 instead of 18 and I took my front swaybar off. You will see in my sig if I beat my personal best
