PI intake swap things needed

So ive done this swap atleast 3 times by now but a few years ago. First two times on my non pi 98 Gt and once for a friends 02. Gonna do it on my supercharged 2000 gt now since i picked up a nice used PI intake with aluminum crossover for cheap. My factory plastic cross over is still in great condition (car only has 60k miles) but i figured why not change it now before it cracks.

Want to replace everything while im in there and trying to remember a parts list for everything i need
What i know i will need
Thermostat
Thermostat gasket
02 alternator bracket
Intake manifold to head gaskets
Intake manifold to plenum gasket
fuel injector O-rings
EGR gasket

Questions i have
Should i upgrade to a thermostat other than the stock one that opens at 192*?

I know i used RTV before for added leak security, but where to apply that RTV i do not remember.

What lower intake manifold gaskets did you use and where did you buy them. LMR wants $40 EACH for the the two gaskets. And i remember paying 40 for both 5 years back.

Any parts im missing or suggestions are welcome

I bought my PI intake manifold at American Muscle and the gaskets at Autozone. I don't remember paying that much for the gaskets but maybe I did. You will need to go to Ford and get a new alternator bracket. The 2000 bracket will not fit the new intake manifold. I also bought all new COP and fuel injection rail bolts at Ford because my old were were a little rusted.

I got that bracket you speak of from LMR for the alternator . I put copper high temp rtv around the ports coolant was only. Other than that ensure you tighten the bolts in the correct sequence using a quality torque wrench to the correct torque specs.

you looking to sell the bracket?

Might also be a good idea to replace the heater hose that's in the valley under the intake manifold.
thought about this is that hose plastic?

Your lucky yours hasn't burst yet. Mine literally exploded a month after I supercharged my car.

I used felpro gaskets for the new intake and didn't rtv anything and drilled new holes on the bracket. However if you drill new holes it will look kinda weird so the bracket from LMR is what I ended up getting after. Oh never did the heater hose in the valley either, you don't need to since the car was a PI already.

Yeah Ide rather not have my engine look like that lol gonna change it next month. Yeah if the hose is already PI and metal I see no need in changing it.
