I got the eleanor pony delete grille from AM and I love it.

 

Go with the billet!

 

The second one is a v6 grille, contrary to popular belief the gt and v6 are different sizes

 

Ha! Well ring-a-ding...I saw GT and figured it to be a wrap! That would have sucked...soo looks like billet is my only choice...oh damn.

 

The billit looks waaaay better anyways.

i like the billet grill that deletes the fogs and the horse, but if you want to keep your fogs id go with the 1st grill u posted.

 

How about the Agent 47 grill?

 

are those grills they sell do they just go over the stock grills or do they actually replace them

 

get a black billet grill (or paint a non black one black) and put the fogs behind it like my friend Jasons :yes

i have a carriage works grill right now. here is a link for the one that removes the GT fog lights, but you can also get the one i have that keeps the fogs.

what he did was buy a billet grill that removed the fogs..then made some brackets to put the fogs behind the grill...i love it and that car will forever be my favorite s197

 

i will look at that. the one thing i hate about the grill i have now is you still see the stock grill behind it.

 

Woah woah woah...you keep the stock honeycomb under the billet? Can you really tell? The reason I'm wanting the pony delete grille is because I love the look of the 69 Mustangs...four lights, billet grille, running pony w/tri-bar emblem on the grille...Is it seriously that bad to have the stock grille?

this is what it looks like with the stock grill under the carriage works grill. big difference between the fog delete grill and what i have.

 

How about a completely new grill that moves the foglights closer to the outer edge, recesses the grill quite a bit and is mesh?

 

nice, but when i purchased there weren't nearly as many options available. i'll just get a new upper fog delete grill from carriage works so it still matches my lower and use the brackets to keep the fogs behind the grill

 

I got the Eleanor style grille that deletes the pony and moves the fog lights towards the middle. I like it. The stock grille is a b***h to remove but well worth it.

DO NOT BUY A STACK GRILL.... Seriously... Cheap hardwear(if you want to call it that), mine came bent up, and missed spots with the paint.. I have the pony delete and the tribar, might put a pic up or two later.. Buy my opinion, I won't buy another stack product...

 

if the grill is painted that would be an automatic hell no. the powder coat chips a little even. i couldn't imagine how badly a painted grill would chip

 

Yeah seriously...that would look like a dalmatian color scheme...

On a side note, I won't be able to get my grille at this time...I was going to leave a little bit of damage on the lower side of my right quarter panel and get a ****-ton of parts (grill, cai/tuner, spoiler, chin spoiler...etc) but I really do need to get to the damage before it rusts :/ So it looks like its only going to be tuner/cai, and a new stripe design...but once I get money, Billet Pony Delete...here I come!

 

fixing the car is always a better option than making it faster. i never understood why people want to leave their car damaged and keep the money ins. gives them or not even make a claim to begin with. only reason not to make a claim is if the accident was your fault or if your deductible is more than the repair. i also don't think you should keep a $500 deductible when you can get a 0 or 100 dollar one for just a couple dollars more a month.

 

I agree...the damage isn't too bad, only about 1300, I just can't report through insurance...my sister is on my plan and she has a lot of accidents, and my agent pretty much told me that if I get in one more accident my rates will double
I was going to just deal with it for a bit, but I was looking at it today and realized that it had potential to rust, and thats definitely not something I want to mess with...No money received from insurance...just my own cash for my own stupid mistake :sorry

 

guessing you or her were at fault then. yeah that's never good to report if you can avoid it.

if it wasn't your fault then it doesn't go against you other than coming up with the deductible

 

Yeah...I was coming home from work, backing into my spot (normally only fits 2 cars, my sisters boyfriend parked in the middle) and I was trying to jimmy it in there and scraped his rusted-ass civic bumper against my passenger quarter panel right above the wheel...I know its my fault...but just sayin...if he parked right it wouldn't have happened
