I have 20%. It's perfect IMO. Not too dark inside but nobody can see it without light, and not too light. Had my windows tinted for $110 with a lifetime warranty. Had them done about a week ago, I'll get pictures after I Get off work.

I have 20% on sides and back and a 5% strip at the top of the windshield.

what color are your interiors, if mine was black I'd probably go with 20, but since its that stupid two tone grey (medium graphite or whatever lol) I feel like 15% will appear 20% on it

I had 35% on my old mustang with the two tone tan interior (hated that more) and it wasn't cutting it at all

 

True. I have black leather so it makes mine look darker. Maybe 15% would be the best for you.

Not to derail the thread, but how did you do the side-scoops on a 99 GT? I thought they only fit on '01-'04.

 

I got the two tone interior n I have 5% all around n wish I got 3%in the back n 5 just infront cuz the light interior f*cks sh*t up lol. I'll post some pics when I get home.

appreciate all the input, yeah the light interiors kill the tint, as for laws its 50% front and 35% rear, I went legal on my old mustang and most people couldnt even tell the the sides were tinted..
not making that mistake twice lol

 

Get tiny that matches your wheels and it'll look good. Double 20 would look good but won't be able to see ****

The darker the better! I went with 20% on the sides and 5% on the quarters/back. Wish I had done 5% all the way. SO much better at night with peoples bright ass headlights!
