Okay to answer a few questions.

Weems - I wasn't trying to be an asshole, it just seemed like someone was only reading half my post. a license plate wouldn't be affected just in drive and I stated the sound only occured in drive. sorry for the miscommunication. :sorry

Azsonic - Yes it was a pain in the ass to change the fuel filter on my old sixxer since I do not have the said fork like tool to release the clamps on the fuel lines. I assume its the same for a gt. :dunno

To all else - I had some piece of metal find its way under my shifter bezel prolly from when I took the 6 disc changer out to persuade it to work again. I guess it was rattling with engine vibrations at that rpm as its prolly similar to how flowmasters drone at certain rpms. i had a long slender magnet i carefully guided down there and thats what I found. no more noise.
