I recently installed my Pro5.0 shifter and now my shifter is offset to the drivers side and is VERY hard to get into fifth. Not sure how to fix it

well it only came with two copper bushings and i put em in. they said the large one goes on the drivers side and the other on the opposite side of the linkage

yeah only two bushings. i was thinkin of swappin thw bushings

that seems like it would make it worse if the larger one is already on the driver side. i would think what you need is more space on the driver side of the linkage becuase that is the direction the linkage is going when you push the shifter towards 5th and reverse. You know? another washer on that side would give you more leverage. i dont know though.

i just called pro50 and they said they're aware of the problem and sending me a bushing kit to fix it. really good customer service. he said it was because ford didnt center the trans. its ok to drive how it is though
