Hey Guys,

Just recieved my Relocation Brackets from Richard at RADMUSTANGS.com and I was wondering if I had to get them welded. It says in the directions to weld them and I would really like to avoid doing so... I am not good at welding so I dont want to chance a shitty job on my car...
How hard of a job ar these relocation brackets???

thanks

But keep in mind you can go back to stock height even if they're welded in. I currently have my CHE brackets on but am not using the drop holes until I get springs. Still running the LCAs through the OEM bracket height holes.

It's probably still emergency driveable, it's just the dang bracket, but... definitely wouldn't go any further than home or the place to get it fixed....

I don't know enough about welding to be able to say if you could remove them after they've been welded though.

dont get the BMR ones! Get CHE ONLY for the relocation brackets. And yes they help a ton on your 60ft at the track and that equals about 2tenths in the 1/4 for every tenth off of your 60'. The CHE do not need to be welded. I've had mine on through several hard launches at 4000rpm with nitrous. Nothing but better 60ft times. 1.74 compared to 1.99s BIG difference

no seriously. I tested them specifically for my 60ft times. The track was a little better prepped though so even though, everything felt tighter down the track and the launch was way better than before I put them on.

I tested without them with nitrous, then the next Friday I put them on and tested again with nitrous and ran .7 tenths better in the 1/4th. Best time with vs. Best time without.

The only difference was the weather being a LITTLE cooler. Not much. Same tires, Same pressure, Same Launch rpms. Same bottle pressure. Same DRIVER
