Two part question.

First, am I going to need to get a dyno tune if I ever get my LTs, prochamber and Stingers purchased and installed, or will a retune through the Predator suffice?

Second, if a dyno is required, there doesn't seem to be any trusted tuners in my neck of the woods from what I can find, so am I going to need to drive to CO, NV, AZ or CA for that bollocks? :p

I wouldn't waste money on a dyno tune with those mods. U will probably only pic up 15 or so hp. A dyno won't change that. I'd order a tune from vmp or bamachips. Stay away from brenspeed though;). U have to buy every single part from them or they won't upgrade your tune. My uncle used brenspeed and i bought him a set of delete plates through work for his birthday and they wouldn't send him a new tune... Even though he just bought $1500 worth of parts last week. I won't buy anything from them. Too many other venders out there to put up with anybody being stingy.

its not gonna take 5 months is it? lol. idk if rich has the capability to tune, but most places you can order the CAI and tuner with a preloaded tune. like AM, you list your mods with your purchase and they write the tune.

Lol, I had bought my CAI and tuner from him a while ago, maybe close to a year ago, and it shipped to me very quickly. :D If I didn't do the email route, is there an option in the Predator to just add the LTs and prochamber or something somwhwere in the menu of the tuner?

No change is needed in your tune performance wise, when you put LT's on your car you move the sensors farther away from the engine, so they may take longer to take their reading. So you may or may not get a laggy sensor CEL. If you ask me I say install your ****, start it and try it out, if you get a cel call your tuner and have them make the change for the LT's.

you should pick up more power than 15hp, and your torque curves and mid range is going to be FAAAAAATTT which is good. Also I would not get a dyno tune until you get something worth doing that for. Like Cams, or a blower :D

It'll still be a while before that happens, still have a little credit card debt and school to manage before I can save for it. :( Think I'll be staying N/A for this one...maybe one day in the very distant future I'll pick up a GT500 of sorts, but probably will be F/I-less on this one.

Well there is nothing wrong with that, you can build a mid to low 12 second car....(even a high 11's if you do it right) which is plenty on the street. I would look into a complete build, make a list and start buying parts down the list. Then you can buy someting small a month and maybe save for 3 months and get cams. and what not. You can build a beast that way, and not even know you are doing it.

depending on the cam....can run $659ish to $1000 by the time you are done with limiters and springs/retainers. And then alot more for an install and tune.

For you I would do full exhaust, then suspension. Then the rest of your bolts (udp's, steeda race plates, ect.) then if you need more then do the cams....and maybe even heads if you really need it.

Heads as in headers, or something else? I probably should have read something about that by now, but I'm coming up with nothin' besides headers, lol...which will be going in with prochamber and stingers.

Heads as in heads...where your cams are located and your valves. You can see your heads, they are under the grey things on the side of your engine cocked at almost a 45 degree angle..

Headers attach to your heads and take the exhaust gasses from your exhaust valves that are channeled through your exhaust ports on your heads.

So some people get after market heads with ported intake and exhaust valves. They help out alot if you have cams already or are planning on doing them at the same time.

Also I strongly reccomend headers. They will change your life. :D

Ah, okay, that makes sense.

Yeah, headers are definitely on the list. :D Wish I didn't have rent, school, car payment, other bills and cc debt so I could actually start getting to work on the upgrades. :( Oh, well...such is life.

The fact you have pics of stuff like that at the ready w/ MS Paint is just awesome to me, lol. Thanks. :D

You can't turn the O2 sensors off yourself. That option was taken out in '07 (EPA). You will have to send away for an e-mail tune to make that adjustment.

"Enable javascript to use LMGTFY." pwn3d by shitty work interwebs and computers. :p

On a serious note, 1) the majority of the stuff Google brings up is blocked by my work firewalls, and when I'm not at work I'd rather be doing better things than cruise the Internet; 2) I'd prefer referrals from noteworthy MM members.

Jeebus.
