Just ordered an sct tuner off of american muscle last night. For those of you that have it is it worth the money.

depends on what youre expecting. its not like adding a supercharger. it wont make your car roast your tires off in every gear. it will improve your gas mileage (or hurt it if they get the tune wrong - ask me how i know) it will improve driveability - particularly at low rpms if youve had some mods on your car. it will make your car seem slightly more responsive on the throttle. it will be an excellent device to use to tune your car in the future should you need custom tuning for forced induction, nitrous, heads, cams, etc. in the grand scheme of things id say it wasnt my most impressive mod - but with the recent addition of the procharger, its going to be a necessity. also - i was throwing codes from my egr delete, longtubes, etc. car was an absolute pig until i got the codes fixed, timing back up, etc. so that helped a little there.

Not to sound like a dick but wouldn't you ask that before you order it?

It is definitely a good investment. Even moreso if your car I'd an auto. Helps pull extra ponies from any mods you may have while adding ones on its own. Good increase on throttle response and if auto better shift points and firmer shifts

I'm happy with mine so far. It did pretty much what I expected, didn't turn my car into a track ready drag-car, but made it run a lot smoother imo with the couple bolt-ons I have (cai, o/r X, cat-back) Overall, More than happy so far.

I'm pretty happy with it. My mileage dropeed from 280 a tank to about 240, could just be my driving habits though. I got it to tune for some mods and get rid of the check engine light from an EGR delete, and I've used it to pull codes from other vehicles. I just wish you could pay SCT maybe half the price of a new unit to add functionality for another vehicle. I will never buy a new one for my f150, but I would however pay $150 or so to be able to use the one for my stang to tune the f150 also.
