Speakers popping and humming?

My wife has a 2006 Mustang that I believe had the shaker system. It has the subs in the doors. We bought it use with a aftermarket headunit installed. The speakers pop and hum alot. Sometimes it's painfully loud. She says it happens alot when she turns and hits bumps. But it really happens all the time. Any ideas? I'm going to check the unit for loose wires this weekend

These couple videos are of the humming sound it makes sometimes. It seems to get louder as she accelerates also.

So you think the ground is just loose where it plugs into the headunit? Yeah it's so annoying I was about to just start throwing money into new components. Glad I asked on here first

Run a complete new ground for the head unit. A wire directly off the HU's ground line to a solid chassis point.

Why best buy? just go to autozone and buy some wire and an eye end. You only need like 18" or so max.

Never messed with wiring so that's the first place to come to mind. I'm sure that would be alot cheaper though

Just pull the radio, find the ground wire (it will be the black one, probably thicker than the rest) Cut it from the harness, hook a new wire too it (better if you solder, but a butt connector will work if you get it on there SOLID) and find a bare metal point on the chassis somewhere close. Put an eye connector on the other end and put that connector under a screw/bolt/whatever. You want as solid of a connection to as big of a metal structure as you can get, with as short of a wire as you can. (dont sweat how long it is TOO much, just try to keep it shorter if you can)
