2004 GT when I accelerate I get a vibration in my seat, steering wheel and sort of fills the car...but its worst on drive with o/d off...withdrivetrain 1:1. Its worst at 30 mph but is there at 50 too. Its not a shake like bad balance and I have new tires...it is there driving straight lines or turning. I'm wondering about drive shaft...tranny....tranny mount. I need to have a vibration study done I guess, but wondering if there is any one out there that has had thisb sort of issue crop up.

Thanks all...With this many votes for U Joints that's where i'll start. I was going there soon with the 4.10's any way...this is my first Mustang after 3 Camaros and as funny as it may sound i feel like i'm looking at a car with a child's eyes when i look at the Mustang. lol. I have a nice Hunter balancing machine and did a careful job balancing them. The vibration was there with the old worn out tires too and i was hoping it would disappear with the new tires for simplicity's sake. We will find the source, i just prefer to find it soon since it's slightly annoying at worst.

Update - UJoints are fine. I am replacing the tranny mount because it's deformed. I so happened that i bought some 10.5x17 wheels and Nitto 555 tires for the rear. Looks like the former owner of my car like slamming pot holes or something because my rims have pretty ugly dents at the tire beads. I still have some vibration but its much better. I just ordered 17x9 wheels for the front since i confirmed my front right has the same damage. I had help mounting the last tires two weeks ago and did not know how bad the damage to the rims was. I would may waste time and try to figure out just how wobbly and damaged the wheels are, but i thinks its obvious they are a huge part of my issue.

when you nail the gas do you feel a flop in the transmission? motor mount issue?
