My 2v decided to commit suicide last night so I'm going to need a new engine within the next week or two. I tried to search up a 3v swap but I couldn't use the term "3v". I read on here what was needed before, I thinking something might needed to be changed on the wiring harness, the battery would need to be relocated, what else am I missing?

For him it would be more worthwhile to just buy a longblock from Livernois, MMR, or some shop that cranks out blocks like that in high volumes, because the machining costs are almost nothing.

For me, I just want a cheap block, because I'm going to build it myself. I don't care if won't run, as long as it's complete with the harness, and computer.

Also, you need to find a way to get your gas pedal work with the 3v engine. Yours is cable, needs to be wire.

whats wrong with them?

What happened to the OPs engine anyway?

Personally if it can be rebuilt I would just forge it or something. I dunno im not one to change a lot of things at once like that, seems like more problems come up after that.

regardless a 3V is a far superior engine, which is probably why he wants to swap.

There is someone either on here or stangnet that has a 3V new edge, but I cannot remember his name. Maybe try and find him somehow.
