For tire pressure, you need to figure out what pressure gives you the largest contact patch. Best way to do that is to do some testing; get a pyrometer and a good pressure gauge (digital > analog), and try to find some place you can do burnouts similar to the track. Check your pressure and temperatures at the shoulders and middle, then do your typical burnout, and check the temps and pressure again. Write all of these down. What you're looking for is the pressure that gives you equal temperatures across the face of the tire. Hot centers means too much pressure, hot shoulders means not enough. You want to know the temperatures, too, as tires have an optimal heat range where they have the most grip. With enough testing you'll know exactly what pressure to set your tires to to get the maximum contact patch based on the track and air temp.
