does anyone know if any of the tsb's had a part number for steel shift forks and which one had the part numbers for the different detent springs and balls?

technical service bulletin. tge detent springs and balls help control how much effert it takes to shift into gear. i think the ones in the tsb are a lighter spring

TSB is technical service bulletin. Not sure which one you want:

2001 Mustang - T-3650 Transmission shift fork bending
Some 2001 V-8 Mustangs equipped with TR-3650 transmissions built from Feb-2001 to Aug 2001 may exhibit difficulty engaging 1st or 2nd gear. This may be due to an out-of-spec 1-2 shift fork. A new shift fork has been developed to service this condition (2r3z-7230-aa). Remove transmission and follow service procedures detailed in 308-03c for dissassembly and assembly of replacement 1-2 shift fork. Examine 1-2 syncronizer and blocking rings for any damage. Service as necessary following service procedures in 308-03c.

Hmm...I could have sworn the bent shift fork TSB didn't apply to the 3650's. I know there's on for the T-45 1st/2nd gear shiftfork. I can look tomorrow on AllData if you still need specifics or anything.

the 3650s had them to lefty, but what i find it was on the early 01 models. So I think I already have the redesigned shift forks.

I can double check on Ford OASIS for you if you give me your vin.

I dont have my vin on me. I know I have some of my old fellow workers at the local ford dealership looking things up for me also. The TSB pertains to 01-04 models thats why I was wondering. I dont need the syncros or blockers since I am doing something custom, Its just if the new shift forks were beefier than mine, I want to change them

:lol Yeah I don't blame ya. At least the 3650 and the 45 are easy as **** to rebuild (or tear apart for that matter and put it back together). So you'll have no worries workin' on it if you do decide to swap internal parts.

shes already apart and syncros and blockers already modified ;) along with the sliders. It wont be very street friendly to the average person if you know what i mean lol

Have to double clutch to down shift

There's nothin' wrong with that. Do it all the time on old tractors and **** when I'm runnin' around on my Aunt & Uncles farm.
