I may be dumb... But what is this for again? Its definitely too short for the new CAI

You can't run without it unless you get breathers. You'll get oil all over the place and the CAI would suck in unmetered air unless the nipple was capped off. Search for breathers on here, I can't link the thread right now. Heres a shitty picture of mine:
Its the little cylinder next to the oil cap

So im gonna shoot oil out of that pcv tube? Or out of the TB? I started the car and gave it a few revs to see if anything was gonna happen, didn't notice anything but I didnt really run it long. So find breathers somewhere and hook them up to that pcv?

I guess I should slap back on my stock airbox, but I dont have a tune for it anymore -_- piss....

So I gotta go pickup some breathers from an auto store.. Napa it is then. I need to cap the nipple off? How so? Or the PCV?

Sorry for the ?'s, just dont understand it lol

Agreed. The only reason I dont have them is because I cant just go buy them locally and am too lazy to mail order them at the moment.

I need to hit up Austin Performance and see if they have them. If so, I WILL be able to get them locally.

They can...and you will smell them.

You can also add a catch-can and keep the PCV system intact.

If I recall, the right side (passenger) PCV hose provides incoming air for the PCV system and the left (drivers) side has vacuum applied to it. I paid about $10 for a breather at the local auto-parts store. Just disconnect that hose and install the breather on the tube on the valve cover. You can even choose from 4 colors (Autozone). My gas mileage even went up a little bit : )

I never knew your car was Supercharged Nasty :)

Also Mikey, the thread title made me lol. This is some good info for when I get around to getting a CAI. I definitely want breathers instead.

That hose is for sucking clean filtered air out of the air intake into the passenger side valve cover it then goes through engine and out the pvc on the driver side. Usually a bung on the side of the intake to get the clean breather air for your motor.
