hey guys im new to the forum. I thought i would join to start talking to people with the same car as me. I have a 2003 mustang cobra and i love it. I love the power but i want more and i already have the exhaust intake the 2.8 udp and software. I want to do some things for handling but i want to put more hp on there first. Any suggestions?

Blower Swap! Put a Kenne Bell on or a Whipple. Then run twin turbo's into the blower and make some compound boost. I think that'll give you plenty of horsepower lol

But exhaust, if you do have the money definatley blower swap, pulley,CAI, and definatley a tune

ahh
i hear ya
well if its only got intake, exhaust, and udp
you could:
performance - cams, tune, headers, nitrous (theres more, but that what i can think of off the top of my head)
appearance - rims, lower it
idk
theres a lot of stuff
just whatever you prefer and can afford

Rear diff brace, full length subframe connectors, springs, some nice sticky tires, mgw short shifter, etc. These cars have pretty much a never ending mod list.

Cams= too expensive at your power level
Long tubes = also not a good bang for your buck plus most people have exhaust leaks with them on our cars.
Nitrous= good
Blower swap = great if you have all the supporting mods

you can have all the power in the world, but if you can't get it to the ground, it means nothing. do suspension and beef up the drive train some first...

drag radials are one of the best things you can do right there to help with wheel hop in my opinion. just feather the clutch some and you can do decent launches all day without worrying about wheel hop.

is this car your daily driver or just a weekend warrior/cruiser?

if its a:

daily driver- go with nitto 555r drag radials- decent traction with good mileage

weekender only- go with mickey thompson ET streets- excellent traction when heated up but crappy mileage of course.

A short throw will be nice. It's not like your car is slow stock anyway. Figure out a power goal that you have in mind, keeping in mind that your car makes between 360-390rwhp stock, and then come back and tell us what number you want and we can help you better. If you only want 450-500 you don't need to do a blower/turbo swap, but if you want more a new blower is recommended. It's all in what you want to get out of your car.

It all depends on what kind of SC and the power your looking at making. This fuel system setup here is what I will be running when I get my 2.3 Whipple.

Diablosport MAFia
Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump w/ wiring upgrade
60lb Injectors
Modified FPDM
Fiore Fuel Hat
-8an lines
Possibly GT Supercar fuel pumps

Like I mentioned before there are a TON of mods you can do to these cars, it all depends on the depth of your pockets.

it all depends on what you want to do with your car amd how much you want to spend. definitely get an IRS diff. brace, some full length subframe connectors, and at least some springs to start off with.
