The All-Wheel drive would kill ya out the whole. With you being stock and stock suspencion, you wont have enough to catch up. But then again, what are you calling stock?

Wrong forum, either way...
Stock with turbo could mean anything. Even with all of the details it would still be an "on paper" race which does not count for anything. Do you know how many people assume HP numbers, can't drive, have no suspension, and claim 1/4 times that are not even close to reality? Race or compare time slips and find out. There is NO way to find out otherwise and be prepared for the lame excuses the loser will have.

Yea I was thinking the same..I know once they get moving its tough. But out the whole unless they had DR's, they have trouble hooking.

I have raced a few in my 03 sixxer with minor boltons and got out on them but they would eventually catch me about midway or up top.

So I figure a 5.0 with some geards and so on just be able to hold the GTI off.

race and find out. if u don't think u can win the cheat. i've seen bolt on mustangs run deep into the 12s but i've also seen blown h/c/i mustangs run 14s so it all comes down to who has their sh#t together ( car set up, tune, how to hook , how to drive ) . if you lose to a stock jetta with a turbo then your manhood shall be revoked and you'll be banished from the v8 performance world and cast into the hell that is ricerville

a stock GTI is not going to run anything better then 15's at best. A stock fox body FI should run somewhere in the 14's with a decent driver. An evo 8 or 9 with a good driver can touch high 13's out of the box. But just remember the evo is the highest version of the lancer made by mitsu. so take a higher version of a mustang like the 03 SVT and the evo wont touch you:p
