Who throws a set of winter diggers on their stang and lets her rip for the winter?

I just had my winter tires put on and I'll throw extra weight in the trunk. But I'll use my 4x4 truck if the snow gets too deep.

LOL, I'll get pics now. It's actually in very good shape. I just need a new seal (leaking coolant) and I'll re-paint it to match the stang.... WTF!!!!

Cool. :) Mine is rough around the edges, has a shitpile of miles on her, and the body is crap. But other than that, everything actually works on the old girl, the cruise, all the windows, locks, the AC, the power trunk....it even has a remote starter on it with keyless entry that still works. lol

not a ding, but 1 month ago the AC compressor seized and the belt broke, damaging the seal. Easy fix. Everything works, everything! It will be my daily driver for the time the Stang is down, and then after.

It's just dirty and it needs some protectant/shine on that top and I'll be pimping...

On a separate note, winter is a killer for all cars period. That Salt and Sand gets the car destroyed in no time. That's why the re-sale value of northern vehicles is lower than southern ones. My 02 Lincoln LS looked like a 1985 century underneath, all rusted and busted.

Nice clean winter beater, bro. When we wear them out, we can meet up halfway, and have a smash-up derby in a BK parking lot. Maybe that BK King asshole will run outside to stop us, and we can crush him in to oblivion. :lol

Yeah the north is hard on the cars. It's actually a wonder that the body on my Merc isn't worse off than it is after 19 years & 350,000km (1like 220k miles) of northern abuse. lol

Wussies and snow. WTF, Just drive the dam thing....I run into people all the time, "You gunna store it?", "Need a beater?" .
I got my ride out early this year and got hit with snow and drove it from NF to Buffalo and back many times. No problem, even when I was out before the plows, I have the:

Pirelli Tires - Pzero Nero M+S

The car handled it well with the Traction system and without but then I have been driving through snow since I could get behind the wheel and now is just another bump.
The other cars and drivers poise the greatest danger so keep a look out for them.

Now the real bitch is cleaning the sodium chloride out of and off of the car.

Not very friendly for sheet metal.

I drive year round unless its actually snowing and accumulating.I have the choice of a 94 buick century (205k miles and runs like a champ) or my girls pt cruiser GT vert.

i drive a 1992 buick roadmaster for the winter it has a 5.7 and it is (sea salt red) it is cool when you could kill a honda in a car that is 21 feet long and like 4300lbs

I live in California... what's "winter"?

:p But I drive this 35 miles to school every day

Before you ask "wtf is it?" It is a 1990 Geo Storm GSi. 210,000+ miles and still runs strong. 130 crank hp too - it'll pull on stock civics and the like :D It'll beat rangers too

I lived out there a couple of times. Its like when you go up to the mountains to snow ski, except it comes home with you.

today i went through 6 inches or so with out getting stuck keep in mind i am lowered. no problems... i am however only driving the mustang because my winter vehicle is not built yet...

i could have bought a 91 mustang gt hatchback for a winter beater, but the funds just arent available, especially around christmas, its either work to the truck or work to the bike, or work to the car and i never save up.
