I've ran Koni shocks for years... Koni actually cams on some of the special edition 60s Era mustangs... the yellow adjustable Koni is what 67 Shelby came with... Koni knows what it takes to make a mustang handle better than any other shock supplier imo

My last setup I ran 14-250 springs, and fox Lakewood 70-30 and the car was pretty low in the front and I never had an issue

That's good to know I was really thinking about that adjustable set of Konis I put that link up for and since everyone recommended the fox body style go with the fox body Konis for the proper length to keep me from bottoming out.

I just got off the phone with UPR they are going to get their tech team to figure out exactly what I need to get the quality ride im looking for both on and off the street..

Essentially im looking for a smooth ride that handles nice more on the street then on the track, that doesn't bottom and and has a nice stiff ride.

Ill probably end up buying a whole new front coil over setup but at this point I don't even care as long as I get the ride I want.

I want to get this suspension wrapped up before I go lay down some serious number on the dyno and the track.

I had been running strange adjustables up front and they knocked like crazy once I changed to adjustable caster/camber plates even though I was already lowered one coil (they were quiet on stock CC plates). Lived with it for 3 years. Finally got sick of it and just two weeks ago decided to go with the KYB AGX adjustable struts and rear shocks. On line go to The KYB Outlet and they had the struts for around $105 each with free shipping, and if you bought rear shocks there is also a KYB rebate of $40 off the set of four. So with expedited shipping and a full set of four, after rebate it only is costing me $350. Put them on last weekend and what a difference. Completely quiet and firmer ride. Wish I would have done it 3 years ago.

Thanks for that information I've had adjustable caster camber plates for years so I'm thinking there just must be an issue with the coil over setup all together possible defective? I'm pretty sure the spring rate and everything I was talked into was wrong according to what UPR and me talked about today. Were getting it figured out then I'm getting whatever I need to get squared away. I'm getting older I like to be comfortable lol.

I was running a UPR k-member, coilover kit with 14" 175lb springs, Strange adjustable fox-length struts and MM c/c plates. They banged, clunked and squealed over everything. Sounded like the front end was falling apart. The car never rode like it had soft springs up front unless I was in the turns, then it would feel like it was going to tip over. For some reason I also could never lower the car to the ride height I wanted to because the springs would lose tension and fall out of the lower spring seat. And I never got very good weight transfer at the track either. I never thought to try another brand of struts to see if that was the cause. I finally just got sick of it and with my tax return one year I got a full MM setup with 10" 300lb springs and bilsteins. Car rides much smoother and quieter now.

(Long story short) I feel your pain with that setup man.

So what we came up with was 12-250 Springs an Strange 10 Way adjustable shocks.

That spring should work well for you. Adjust. Your struts to a 6-7 in the front for street use and lower for the track. You'll never get the best of both worlds. Suspension doesn't work like that. Not with our SN95 chassis at least.

Nice im looking forward to a nicer ride.

Tuning Starts tomorrow after work, I decided to go with Brooks Speed.

Eric is one hell of a tuner. Comes up STL once or twice a year to tune. Over ten cars in 2 days. He would be my 2nd choice.

Florida I'm doing remote tuning, tried to get in with Scott but he is pretty busy right now and I need to get the ball rolling.

I will have new Dyno Numbers coming next Friday.

His shop Brooks Speed use to be next to I think his dad's shop in Tifton Georgia. Eric moved from his hometown relocated to Florida and does damn good remote tunes from what I hear now.
