Pate you should post your track datalog up in this thread please, I'd like to see it as well!
Ill do that, im not going to be using the T brake i backed out of it and stuck with my street car them. Ill try to run the best way i can without the drag car parts.

e-85 is off the table for me because its testing at about E71 and i cant run 25-27PSI on that crap... Ive decided to stop chasing my tail on this and were making a couple changes to my pump gas tune and i am going to run 110 octane turbo blue.... Since i wont run it nowere but the track my 02's should be ok for a few trips to the track. 110 is everywhere here so its not an issue getting ahold of.

What PIDS do i need to add in order to datalog converter efficiency?

Discussion starter · #4,107 ·
Under Trans, TQ_act_slip. This is converter actual slip. It will be the actual rpm the converter is slipping.
Thanks ill dig into that when i start my logs I would do one tonight or tomorrow but the rain is coming.

I will thursday if we dont get rained out.....

Im switching to 110 Octane gasoline for my race tune and ALOT of boost for the dyno. At the track ill start out slow like 15 PSI and bring up the boost as i make passes hopefully to 25-27PSI.

Looks like it's supposed to rain then turn to snow WTF!?

FYI, it doesn't have to be exactly E-"85" to get some really good benefits out of it. If I remember correctly, the difference in E50 and E85 (in terms of how much timing you can run) is pretty small. There's more to it than just ethanol content and octane. Since E85 requires more fuel than E50 would, the way to tune it is to set the fuel (AFR) with E85, then set the timing with E50. And voila, you have a tune that's always safe with anything above E50 and that probably isn't giving up 20 horsepower to a "perfect" tune. On a car making 700+ horsepower where literally a tenth of a second of detonation could destroy the motor, that's a tradeoff I'd make every time.

Also, I hope you see the irony in continuing to talk about it being a "street" car, and yet running C10 race gas. In my neck of the woods anyway, that is the first disqualifier in all of the 'street' car classes we have.

Anyways, best of luck to you whichever you do first (track or dyno). Looking forward to seeing how it runs.

When i talk streetable i am referring to Hard Parts. Hopefully Friday ill have some results on paper I think Evilo2GT is going to meet up with me and we dyno both cars. the results im feeling with the car are very satifying but ive not seen anythign about 18PSI for more then a couple seconds since getting the converter in because its just to damn much for the street.

Evil02 I got the dyno setup for Friday April 8 Mid morning we will Dyno both our cars. Ill let you go first LOL!!

Now that we got it setup its time to do some numbers estimating I made 747/691 non lockup on 20-21 PSI and i plan on running 20-21PSI again this time locking.... I also plan on running 25PSI or more locking up.

I'm gonna say 820hp locked up at 20-21psi, and 900 locked up at 25-27psi.

I would like to see 800RWHP that would be awesome for a 2V.

Sad part for me is. I will be lucky if I make even half of what you make. Will probably make less than half.

I made 391 with 12psi. That right there goes to show you how far off dynos are. Especially when another guy with 8psi put down more than me on the same dyno.
