Hey 05 mustang. Where you live at in louisiana. TPS tuned my car the first time

+1...JPC for the quality...if price isn't a concern

Man that **** is going to be crazy. Plus turbos are the way to go to make big power. it is just kinda funny to me when we talk about "big CI motors" for our cars, cause i mean 322 isn't as big when you compare it to 427, 440, or 454CI monsters. lol =p

I live in Houma, about 45 miles Southeast of New Orleans.

I am going to go with the JPC Intake, Billet Delete Plates, and ordering some 83lbs. injectors. Also purchasing another monoblade throttlebody as I sold the other one with my KB kit.

Sounds good, i can't wait to see the build thread/ finished product. You are going to make a build thread right?

Here is the article Wes did on mine

What we’ve been up to… PART 1 Total Performance Solutions

BJ’s S197 – Yeah it’s fast
BJ brought his 2005 S197 Mustang to us with some driveability issues and in need of an automatic swap, some fuel system upgrades and a good once-over on the suspension. Benjy fabbed up a custom 3″ mandrel bent X-pipe exhaust system with magnapacks to help get the air moving. This sucker is LOUD. No muffler video.

The combination BJ has is problematic for some shops to tune with the large 4″ MAF/inlet, an aftermarket throttlebody, cams and hard hitting automatic. We put a great emphasis on making the car drive as close to stock as possible. After all, what good is a beast of a car if it stalls, idles wierd and is otherwise a pain to drive.

With the automatic swapped and fuel system upgraded, we spun the rollers past the 600rwhp mark.

Like any TPS car, dyno numbers are just a precursor to showing what the car and driver have at the track. A day later the shakedown runs for the combo were done at NPR. Track conditions, abundant torque and ET Street radials combined to make for some awesome spin and short shifting off the lines but the car put down a 10.3 @ 137 with a 1.8 60ft. Not bad for the first go at it and from what BJ tells me it is the 2nd fastest recorded time for a KenneBell 2.6H on this particular combo. There is much more left with real tires (where we can use the transbrake and not launch off idle and shortshift to 2nd). This is one sick street car.

Run to 1000′ video

I think we will need to set up a race between the two of us. I think it could be damn close.
Don't count my car out quite yet. I may not have the 1000+ horses that BJ will likely have.....but my car is going to be light. Lost 300+ lbs already and plans for shedding another 300 lbs:D

Are delete plates required with the JPC manifold? For some reason I thought they were built to be used without the IMCV?

Unless they changed it yes they are required. I just saw Forensicsteve's the other day and he had some Steeda delete plates on it. I still haven't gotten to talk to Justin but I plan on it soon. I am still waiting to hear about my motor as I was supposed to have a delivery date a couple days ago.

Good deal, I was wondering how much weight I would be getting rid of from my car. I put mine on the Forensicsteve Diet and threw some P90X in also and all nonessential equipment is gone. I have him pulling wiring harness and cutting all the wires that are no longer being used. Let's just say it will be stripped street car. :)

Good to know.

Thanks.

Just curious how much power do you want to make , what are you shooting for.
I like the fact your looking into the 88mm especially since the motor will be 322ci , that will help spool it up .
Next year Im re-building my set up with a 322 ci and a Billet Wheel BB 88mm.

You can also get a 76mmbb Billet Wheel , that should spool very quickly with the bigger cubed motor , and also run the .96 a/r .
That Turbo is good for 1250 hp while the 88mmbb Billet wheel is good for 1500.
