How are you managing to only pull 15.3 or .2 I cant remember with all the work? I am in the 14.7-14.8 class with just k&n and h pipe with flows. Got to have some big problems or automatics suck?

yaaaa auto kinda suck plus i have a car that weighs almost 4K, plus i ran on **** tires both times..my car is by no means fast off the line but from anything 5mph and up shes a monster..i have to work on getting it off the line..i get bad wheel spin to start with plus wheel spin going into 2nd..that will be the last thing i take care of tho..

I was refering to p4n mainly. Lol. We have pretty much same car except his is in a cobra shell.

Easy. car was very sick when i went to the track and it was that week when i ran. quite a few things against me. and loosing EPC pressure which i later found out. I have a few things slowing me down not to mention my car is not tuned for any of whats in it.
On top that when going down the track i rev limiter in 1st for a good second....that kills my time.. and OD kicks in at 80mph which drops the power band and speed. So 15.2 is actualy great for my issues and this year of car with an auto lol.

List could go on. and everyone already knows what my car is. been here a little while.

Dang man. Need to get that solved. I want to have a partner in crime around here with the "slow gt's" lol

Yeah i have a list of issues. with allot of my mods needing a tune to be competitive. im in the process of preparing the car for the much higher HP the drive train will see within the next months.

I would probably be better doing the intake swap before the tuner right?

yeah intake adds good hp so you want to do that.

I will order that booger soon then. Or find one. I think the optional guy has one. How much you want for it?

well flex if your looking to mod it later on, i would dish out the money for the sct tuner first. it kinda gets your foot in the door with your mods. i have a gt conv and one of the first thing i got for it was a tuner. i bought two diffrent ones. SCT and Sniper. i tried the O2 eliminators and they didnt work. still through the check engine light even though ive been around people that said they work. your back o2s are only there to tell your ECU that your front o2s are doing their job after the cats burn off the access fuel, but being that no one on this sight has cats lol including me i would get SCT man when you come to that road. your front o2s are the ones adjusting your leanness and richness. so if you start having problems like that change the fronts. the tuners only let your ECU know you dont have cats and adjust for them so it doesnt through the CEL which to me is agrovating looking down at that damn yellow light in your face all the time and its bad because you cant tell if something else is going on because of it. so thats my opinion.

haha yeah. tuner should come after all basic things like those sensors. im sure those O2 are lazy even if they dont pull a code. change them with motor craft originals. Rocauto.com has OEM ones from half the price....get them. reset ur ecu with the battery after. price .. just under 70 bucks. and i bet you will feel a diff. also change the exhaust out if you have not. have the 6 cats removed.

so should i change my o2's...im shur they are old and they do throw a code..i just didnt think of it since my car doesnt miss and it seems to have full power..but ive had clogged cats so bad they actually blewout, did an exhaust swap, had fouled plugs countelss times, and 1 failed manifold swap all on these 02 sensors..i dont have cat converters or rear o2 sensors so i figured its no biggie. They that big of a deal, the front 2 o2's.?

Front O2 are what make your initial fuel curves and all that good stuff in the ECu if they are reading wrong/ lazy or off then you will not have your full potential power neither gas mileage. They helped me an assload when i changed mine out. it was more significant than i would have thought.

Cats removed, h pipe in place with rear o2s removed. It kind of shudders at a steady speed like its not getting enough fuel. So I am goin to replace the fuel filter, the k&n filter, clean the maf, and o2sensors while I am at it.

A shudder ? or a vibration. How is ur RPM does it change much . I would say check the fuel regulator , fuel filter , MAF and those systems. All those should be done on a new used car . cause many not great with maintenance .

:yes The front O2 sensors are VERY important in determining the correct fuel trims at idle and part throttle.
