Hey guys so i just wanted to share this info and pitures with you guys and keep you updated if you were thinking about doing this yourself i can help. Not a write up sadly just couldnt find the 3rd hand i needed to take the pictures but i do remember everything the best i can!
So this is how she started when i got her from the pick and pull!
Then i put her ran it for about 1000 miles And developed a knocking sound
(spun a bearing in the bottom end due to heat and oil issue).
So then i had to go and do this!
But because i did all that i had to order some goodies cause i wasnt putting stock stuff back in!!!
Oh and forged i beams idk what happend to my picture.
Then i bored the block .20 over align bored it, Decked and checked for stress.
And here comes to fun fun stuff started putting it back together.
Got to the heads tomorrow the timing and covers are going on cleaned everything up today the heads turned out so clean im happy with the results.
Replaced the water pump with a brand new stewart one
Replaced the oil pump with a brand new ford racing one (or factory high volume pump)
Replaced all head bolts and main bolts with frpp
Bumped the compression to 10.8:1
Accel coils
Ported throttle body
Jlt Rai
Total Seal rings
Clevite bearings
Set up for a 150 shot of nitrous!
Next on my to do list is Short Runner Manifold
and fuel to handle all this.
Also on a side note my dog passed away today and i put this together to kinda stop thinking about it. He was a great and good dog RIP Binks.
