What Did You Do To Your Sixxer Today?

Drove her. Got more pissed. It's just going downhill. Constantly shuttering and misfiring. Feels like the plugs are fouled beyond belief. Can't wait for a fresh driveline. Wish I could reset my ODometer.

i honestly don't like them. i don't think smoked will look good on yours really..(i'd have to see it before i made a final decision, haha) go with oem black housing headlights. Those would look le tits.

they are half clear and half amber...along with those 2 stupid pieces of plastic across the turn signal..it just doesn't look good...that and light output sucks...at least they did compared to my HIDs when i was parked next to the guy

ehh, didn't notice that pic. that looks like complete ass. if it were just a black back ground with a clear lens and amber bulb without the plastic then it would look decent. I saw a set of headlights that a member did where he basically retrofitted the HID's into the headlights. it looked hecka sexy but he wanted $300 for them :/

yeah he does projector retrofit..you can also do them yourself...either pm him or Defiant in the 99-04 section. they can link you to the site they order their projectors from. and even a write up on how to make them yourself....

I have a clear set like that with the black housings for $50 bucks plus the ride if you want them. They will look better than your chrome housings in the mean time.

I have found some turbo kits on EBAY. They say that they are complete kits and they are only $650-$1000. Ads also say the only components that need to be purchased or made are the manifold, downpipe, and silicone reducers.

Can anybody chime in on these. Will I have to buy anything else? Are these good kits?

Also as far as your build. No one on record that Ive seen has put over 264rwhp

Doesn't mean it cant be done, but good luck. But seriously. To get that you need to spend a stupid ****ing amount.

Talk to JT or ESG on a turbo Kit,

See what they can do for you.
Please listen to me and dont waste time on a N/A build like I did, love my car to death but I should have listened to ESG and did turbo.... really should have.


to the other guy. To make a good nitrous set up you'll spend about 1000 bucks, and still wont have 275hp most likely, atleast not w/o using such a big shot that you blow your motor.


People. Turbo. Please. If you want power the only smart way to go is turbo. Coming from the dumb ass who built a N/A build. I spent entirely way to much money on 230whp ... that small of power was not worth the money. could have put = amount to a turbo kit and come out w/ probably 100 hp extra ...

would it be considered the norm or proper for a person to go to a local car meet with some body damage to their car?

Got a bumper with big holes in it as I was in a hit and run. Somebody hit me and took off. And I just got this car 1 month ago. I plan to put a stalker bumper on it now

Bumper looks like swiss cheese..lol

StoneColdStang - Get out there and meet people. It's not about what your car looks like, it's about meeting the people that can help you get where you are going. Maybe someone local will have a bumper they will sell you cheap.

And like mike said, TMA, JT, and ESG are about the only turbo kits I would do. The eBay ones have bad fitment, cheap chinese turbos, and leave a lot to be manufactured. The manifold is another $500 and the price goes up.
