Dude, your whole car is one giant mishap ;)

But I commend you on keeping cool and working through it instead of dumping off on someone else.

my ride as it sits right now. in the garage covered in a ton of dust on jackstands with no exhaust, brakes, or intake
I know that feeling. :sorry
I've still got my midpipe out, starter out, brakes hung up, and no PCV system hooked up, all parked on jackstands.

...and spiders are freakin' everywhere.

So the aluminum flywheel on the Cobra, do you change the insert or do you just have them resurfaced?
When I got mine turned they told me you can only get it resurfaced. I could be wrong, and it would be nice if I was.

That the hell Vince!? tell us!!
Seriously Vince! WTF?

:lmao I'm starting to think this thing belongs in a car crusher
That looks pretty easy to fix. Let me walk you through it.

1.) Open up the driver side door.
2.) Start it up, keep it in park/neutral.
3.) Put a brick on the gas and point it to the nearest cliff and/or lake.
4.) Put in drive.
5.) Get out, and feel an overwhelming feeling of relief wash over you.

:shiftyeyes

In all seriousness **** happens. If it makes you feel any better I need a new radiator too. I'm done dealing with this epoxied hack job from the PO.

For reference, 55north and 55south are your typical 2 lane highway. (four lane total, with a 15foot median)

"Nah it's cool. I was coming over the crest right before exit 43 (northbound) when I see a truck slam down on a guard rail. Like, he went off the side of the road(southbound), rode the guard rail for 35 feet or so, and then he hit a point where it got caught on the frame and shot through the floorboards into the cab.

At the same time that I was watching all this, I was dodging wood that was all over my lane, and I ended up hitting a bunch of them, almost wrecking myself. (lowered car). I popped a front tire, bent my rim, and it ripped off my front bumper. I just barely saved myself from the guard rail on the right.

So I run over to the truck, and see no more engine bay, it looked like the block was inside the cab/firewall was pushed really far back. I grabbed my flashlight and shined it inside looking to see if he was still alive. I saw his leg broken in at least two places, and his head split open I could see straight inside his skull. Massive amounts of blood everywhere. I ran over to the other side and broke the window open, and jumped in to see if he was still "here". He wasn't responding to me other than looking at me in the eyes. Then he put his hood up, and got real quiet. Five seconds later the cops/fire department/ems were there getting him out, and I got told to go sit in my car. Then I was stuck there for like 3 hours till they opened the road back up."

Some good did come out of it tho. Got a brand new front bumper, since my current one was all kinds of ****ed up. Got a lip for the front, and mounted. Got a new driver side front tire, (both fronts were brand new, but the driver side would always lose air for no reason whatsoever. -___-) got all new underside splash guards, since my current ones were ****ed from the PO having to get it towed. Got my mirrors painted, since they seem to be one of the first things to lose clearcoat. :)dunno why either?) and i got some brand new Michelin Pilot Sports in the exact size i need for 40$ a piece! :rockon

Not to mention i have a catback in the mail, and an Escort Passort 8500 x50 im nabbing off my friend. Next month ill also have a Escort ZR4 Laser Shifter coming in too. ;)

eeeehhh they could be. Guess i didn't really measure them and just looked like 3 inchers. probably are 3.5
