your spoiler holes are in incredible shape.. I wish mine was like that also i wouldn't use a car cover personally, I think they're swirl generators

paint looks like it could use some love, which is good cuz you'll produce some sweeet 50/50s!

It's got a cotton bottom side and there is a cat that walks around out there sometimes (I think) and I don't want it on my car =(. Do you think even with the bottom being cotten it will still scratch/swirl it? Also the cover doesn't move on the car often since it's just sitting this winter.

Do you tape over the holes or anything like that?

The current armory, kind of weak especially for me, I've let go of several big waxes within the last month
bfwdps 16 oz blacklight + v7 down below also (you can kind of see them)
Is dodo still your favorite? You tried the homebrew yet? Also is pete's as good as everyone says it is or is it just hype? I think Mach was the other one that said he loved it but I can't remember off the top of my head.

yeah I ****ing love dodo lol, not yet I'll be trying all 8 and hopefully home brew this year

however 50/50 is supposed to be an incredible wax..

and I haven't been able to use wheel guard yet because its 100% synthetic, it looks and smells like lava and is even more liquidy.. :dunno

That picture looks awesome. After my 50/50 imma do the other half then sex it up. hopefully it looks anywhere close to that. I can't wait to look at this and not have all the stupid swirls bother me.

Pete's is a great wax no hype. I have 2 coats on top of BFWD. Great wet look and very good longevity for a nuba.

CG's wheel guard works pretty well on painted wheels. Used it when I had black bullits on my six. Haven't tried it yet on my polished aluminun, went w/ BFWD instead. Maybe I'll try it next time I wash.

I will be buying some sort of slightly more expensive wax soon since right now I have NXT 2.0, Pinnacle Liquid Souveran and Collinite 845.

I'm looking at the dodo 2 sampler thing (orange crush and banana amour), 5050, Pete's, maybe Poorboy's Natty's?. This wax will be mainly for looks since the car is down for the winter. It will not need to protect from anything but dust since it will not be seeing weather. What is the best in the 20-50 dollar price range for warm colors? (Screaming Yellow)

I don't care for nattys, its so easy a caveman can do it, like jetseal, granted i've only used their polish w/ nuba and polish w/ sealant

you'll love dj oc and ba, great waxes :D
best bang for buck that I've used was probably petes.. great wax but make sure you buff it all off and it can stain trim

lol oh just wait, wait until you fully correct your paint and then see how much swirls bother you!
thanks :yes

yeah petes is a solid bang for buck, thats good to hear, I've had it for months but I was just using wash and gloss on my saleens all summer, and now these bullitts are still curing, I'll probably rain forest rub them before they salt the roads..

Just under went my first round using a polisher ever. Finally got the GG out. It's 25~ degrees here but between a couple sets of lights and a hair dryer everything went on great and came off great. This thing really is extremely easy to use, I am so happy I bought it.

On friday I will be purchasing a membership to Detailers Club so I can get some real products for the job at hand BUT I couldn't wait any longer to use this thing.

First off I went to Lowes after work tonight and bought a couple spray bottles since I would need them for the IPA and waterless wash + (Thanks again Vader)

Products:
I had warm soapy water in the bucket to wash my pads
Megs UC/D151
Mothers Clay
CGs Speed Wipe (Clay Lube)
IPA
BFWDPS
Waterless Wash +
Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Wax (meh?)
Cyan/Tangerine/Crimson Hydrotech Pads

I posted a picture earlier as to what it looked like before I did anything to it. I really didn't realize how bad it was until I took the spoiler off and looked at it under the lights today.

Pictures of the process.

All the afters are with 1 application of bfwdps and 1 application of souveran wax. I am extremely happy as to how it turned out. I only did my trunk tonight partly because of the products I am currently using. I wanted to learn how to use and be comfortable with the polisher.

There still are some small imperfections here and there which I will be getting out but I will be purchasing some better compounds/polishes before I do the rest of the car and finish off the trunk.

I'm extremely happy with the bfwdps. I can't believe how far such a small amount will go. I wasted some of my sample tonight using too much product. That stuff goes a long ways. The souveran wax didn't blow my mind or anything. It was easy on and easy off. Waxing a car with this polisher is going to go sooooo much faster. The wax was ok, I don't think it brought anything to the car nxt 2.0 didn't mind you I'm not driving it and testing the durability of it either. I don't think NXT 2.0 is a showstopper but I don't feel like souveran is either.

All in all about 4 hours spent learning, playing with and mostly finishing my trunk while talking to my wife/buddy who joined me for a while in the ridiculously cold weather. I will be buying m105/205 or some of the V series products from CG or something before I do the rest of the car. UC seemed like good stuff and it got out sooooo much but I would like to get it all out.
