alright so in the past i use to run with my buddie who had a 350 iroc using a stock intake manifold recentlty i just slapped a cobra intake manifold on and now my car wont hold its own against him why would this be? im still using same throttlebody and maf just a different intake

ima try a water pump now... i changed thermostat and still the same.. my radiator has a bunch of nasty **** in it so thats concerning me... it started doing this after i put my cobra intake on....

Did you use silicone around the water ports on the intake gaskets when you put them down?

i didnt use any sealer when i put the lower intake gaskets down it said dont use any on the package

+1 pull the intake.
I dab of silicone around the ports, and rub it in is what I always do, let it sit for 10-20min until its tacky and doesn't come off on your finger, then wedge the gaskets on. it can also be used to help hold the gaskets in place.
don't use very much, when you crank down the intake to spec it will squeeze out into your ports, so very thin.
if it where me I would change the oil twice. drain it, put in some cheap walmart crap, then after a few miles change it again. use some seafoam if you want in the first oil change too.
