In the middle of my long tube install on my six i got all the bolts out on the passenger side off two on the driver side i cant remove the header to midpipe bolts off any suggestions or tips.:computer:

my friend got a 15/16 wrench cracked the passengers side loose. theres another bolt on this side futher down that attaches to the header what is it

that would be the EGR, the other two are for air injection

i would delete the whole air injection system and EGR if it were my car

he could probably get away with just removing the air injection since only the cali spec 99-00 mustangs had it, my 2000 only had EGR

Spray it with PB blaster or equivalent rust penetrant. Let it sit 10-15, spray againg, let it sit another 10-15, then man handle it.

or he could just cap the ports
I just have all 3 ports on mine capped with brass fittings
my car did not have air injection and when i bought the 99-00 mac headers I was didnt know about the air injection

drawback of deleting both ? how much would it cause material wise cut I would enjoy cutting them of call in it a day

the only drawback of deleting both would be that you might not pass emissions.
i dont know a lot about the emissions testing because we do not have them here. So i dont know what the situation in new york is like.
the advantage of deleteing them is just to tidy up the engine bay and in your case woudl make the install easier.

I believe that New York does visual and a sniffer. Not for sure though.

the bolts to the headers are going in at an angle al missed up the air injection pipe that connects to the header is bent so it doesnt screw in I tried to turm it on half bolted on and it made popping noise and smoked
